A Glorious Day

Today was full of sunshine and we made it to the low 70s for temperatures in my area.  I was lucky enough to visit a new friend who lives on one of the many beautiful lakes in Oakland County.  Kristi offered to help me get my loom set up and show me how to weave.

Kristi's husband, Dave, also weaves, so between the three of us we got my loom put together, warped, and about 8" woven as of tonight.  I've move the loom and its stand into my craft cave and I'll get back to working on it tomorrow.  I had to re-load my shuttle so I figured it was a good time to take a break.

I'll post some progress pictures tomorrow.  Too tired tonight to do the photo editing.

I'm liking it so far, but man, there sure is a LOT to learn!
